middle of the uc campus. that attack follows the shooting that involved a student off campus last week. lillian is live from uc santa cruz with latest on this. lillian. >> 2 major incidents in just one week no. 1 dear students here are feeling nervous. santa cruz police officers posted fliers around uc santa cruz campus tonight. asked for the community help in identifying the man who beat and raped a 21-year-old woman sunday afternoon. she had been walking along wooded path on campus between the upper am by theater and classroom unit building. >> scary because you never think that is going to like happen at your campus. >> santa cruz alerted students by text message and e-mail. places issued a be on the look out alert to other county law enforcement agency. rapist is described as 200 pound muscular or stocky white man in his twlis black hair green eyes mustache and goatee. he's

>> thank you. man sues pested of killing 3 people during a drug deal in sonoma county has been arrested in alabama. 46-year-old mark cap awaiting extradition to california. investigators say he was involved in the february fifth somewhating of 3 men near forestville. authorities say the victim had intended to buy a large quantity of marijuana. cap arrested last thursday during routine traffic stop. >> assistant chief with the highway patrol faces charges tonight of helping his son skip town to escape a rape charge in fresno. investigators say 20-year-old spencer scar left the u.s. in december three days before a jury found him guilty. he was captured last week in mexico. tonight his father kyle who works for the chp accused of misleading investigators with bogus missing persons report and planting blood on the family driveway. his daughter and wife also face charges. whole family in trouble. >> new at 11:00 livermore mother who serbed time in prison for having sex with under age boys is now back in jail. 44-year-old christine

hub sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2010. hub was dubbed hummer mom for the suv she used for sexual encounter. she was arrested friday in hayward on parole violation. authorities have not said what she did to get arrested or when she got out of prison. right now she's being held at the jail with no bail. >> tonight there is a call to suspend cal kabul coach mike montgomery for shoving a star player during last night game. it's coming from a state senator who also happens to be a graduate of uc berkeley. john is live for us at the pavilion on the cal campus. john? >>reporter: coach montgomery already reprimanded by the pack 12 and athletic director has said his behavior is unacceptable but state senator yee is calling for a suspension saying it will hopefully wake up the coach about his behavior. >> all conference last year. >>reporter: sharp jab by cal basketball coach montgomery lasted only a split second but
